Felix Holme - Resident

I worked at Shandon House and Felix Holme for nearly three years on the side of my studies. Both family-run homes had a friendly and open atmosphere, making them genuinely enjoyable places of work. I was provided with a wide variety of training opportunities as well as a flexible part-time schedule, which enabled me to work while being a full-time student. A work community as friendly as the one in these homes is not easy to find.

“Shandon house is a warm inviting caring home with many qualities, like being part of an extended family with the staff and management taking a pride in the home, care for the residents looking after and supporting one another. The home is a happy one with a lot of fun laughter between the staff and residents.  The management team are approachable friendly encouragement is given to further your development in the care role, I enjoyed all my training courses and NVQ. Good friendly place to work with many rewards obtained from doing a caring job for the residents.
