CEL Care Services is a truly family-run care company, built on compassion, dedication, and a deep-rooted love for what we do. We proudly operate two homes — Rodina House, a 20-bedded care home, and Shandon House, a 25-bedded care home — each providing a safe, nurturing, and homely environment where residents are treated like family.

Founded by Lindsey Bree and her late husband Paul, in 2000 with the purchase of Shandon House, CEL Care Services began as a heartfelt vision to deliver the kind of care we would want for our own loved ones. Lindsey’s children, Carlene Thomson and Edward Fox, grew up immersed in the family business, learning every aspect of the industry from the ground up. Together, they expanded the company with the addition of Rodina House — creating what is now CEL Care Services, a united family of homes shaped by genuine care and commitment.

For us, care isn’t just a profession — it’s a lifestyle. We love what we do, and that passion shines through in every aspect of our work. Lindsey, in particular, has held prominent positions within the care industry and has truly made an impact throughout her career, inspiring those around her and setting the tone for the compassionate, person-centred approach that defines CEL Care Services today.

Many of our staff have been with us for years, a testament to our strong retention and the supportive, family atmosphere we’ve built. Their consistency and commitment ensure that every resident receives continuity of care and genuine connection from familiar faces who truly care.
